  Nate Hagens of The Great Simplification (TGS) recently posted an eye-opening Frankly on YouTube which he refers to as "Wide Boundaries" (here) He identifies three (3) major layers: (1) At the top is the layer built out of the everyday narratives we tell ourselves about money, finance, politics, legal obligations.

I was watching one of the Goobie/Dobie videos ( at this time spot ) --snapshot to the right -- when he brought up this idea that a person can elect to subjugate him/herself to the dictates of another person OR to the dictates of a mental construct inside the subjugated person's mind. So, that mental construct could be a religion. And in particular, a religion that excuses harm to, or killing of other persons if those "others" do not obey the dictates of the religion. There are many religions that allow for such heinous acts, particularly if it involves "blasphemy".   Today, one man called into CSPAN's show, Washington Journal to proclaim that the "Law is the law" and that is why certain members of our species are " illegals " who must be 'sent back to where they came from'. That sentiment infuriated me to no end. I was dying to call in and further add: 'Hubris is hubris' and undoubtedly we all are "super-Sapiens", meaning more wise than even the gods; especially you mister, You have no idea what "law" is in the first place or how it is created and then twisted and distorted over its lifetime in the second place.
