"The law is the law"? And undoubtedly we all are "Sapiens"
Today, one man called into CSPAN's show, Washington Journal to proclaim that the "Law is the law" and that is why certain members of our species are " illegals " who must be 'sent back to where they came from'. That sentiment infuriated me to no end. I was dying to call in and further add: 'Hubris is hubris' and undoubtedly we all are "super-Sapiens", meaning more wise than even the gods; especially you mister, You have no idea what "law" is in the first place or how it is created and then twisted and distorted over its lifetime in the second place. By the way, it is for this reason, my occasionally infuriated state, that I launched this mostly hidden blog post (Old Man Talks Politics). So I can vent to/for myself. No one else will probably ever see it. Of course, I am no better than the caller.
