"The law is the law"? And undoubtedly we all are "Sapiens"

Today, one man called into CSPAN's show, Washington Journal to proclaim that the "Law is the law" and that is why certain members of our species are "illegals" who must be 'sent back to where they came from'.

That sentiment infuriated me to no end.

I was dying to call in and further add:
'Hubris is hubris' and undoubtedly we all are "super-Sapiens", meaning more wise than even the gods; especially you mister, You have no idea what "law" is in the first place or how it is created and then twisted and distorted over its lifetime in the second place.

By the way, it is for this reason, my occasionally infuriated state, that I launched this mostly hidden blog post (Old Man Talks Politics). So I can vent to/for myself. No one else will probably ever see it.

Of course, I am no better than the caller. Let's call him 'Cro-MAGA Man' because it is highly probable that he (the one who telephoned into CSPAN) is an extreme right-wing Republican who thinks himself as being superior to the humans he labels as "illegals" because he considers himself to be a righteously "legal" American.

With that said, note that I am no better because I take egotistical glee in recognizing the lack of minimal intelligence by him and the many others who call into CSPAN with their Dunning-Kruger absolutists comprehension of the world we live in.

A frighteningly large portion of those who call in are religious nut jobs who thump their Bibles and use that as their basis of knowing it all.

Many clearly have no training in math, economics and/or science. Take for example, the issue of mandatory health insurance. How can so many logically believe in "free markets" and the right of each person to choose as to whether they will join a subpopulation of insured persons and then which of those subpopulations?
