Who Was Charlie Kirk?
First off, no one should be sentenced to death simply because of the beliefs they express publicly.
That is especially true if done vigilante style [1] --without due process of law [2].
That said, it seems that the far-right political forces in the USA [3] want to convert the murder of Charlie Kirk into a martyrdom, as if he was some Jesus-like figure crucified by the so-called lunatic far-left fringe [4] of the they/them who call themselves Democrats.
A generalist biography of C. Kirk can be found (here).As noted there, Kirk dropped out of college but clung to campus life by launching a Prove Me Wrong campaign.
What is not fully explained, is that Kirk fancied himself a master debater. He got his behind bashed in when he unwittingly tangled with a blonde debate-team captain at Cambridge U. in the UK (here). She set him up for the fall just like the Karate Kid set up his opponent using the Crane Kick --appearing as if totally vulnerable, staggering on his wounded left leg. He dove in head first.
